We offer a special program combining a cocktail workshop, a visit to the Amsterdam Coolest Bar and a warm Tapas Dinner. We take you into a hot & cold sensation! In the middle of of Amsterdam near Rembrandtplein (popular bar square) this arrangement will be lot's of fun!
Top Tours will welcome the guests with a trendy cocktail workshop in the 'warm' part of the IceBar. We will introduce the guests into a world of cocktail mixing and shaking. Our cocktail-experts will give a brief introduction about history and special ingredients. But obviously the main subject will be shaking, tasting and drinking!
The bartender will show the group the best way to prepare the drinks. You’ll receive advice on flavour, preparation, tricks and flairing! After this the guests will get to work! We’ll take care of the liquors, bar tools, ice and cocktail menus. The group will make about two delicious cocktails. And for those who don’t drink alcohol we’ll make delicious ‘mocktails’ (alcohol-free).
After the workshop, we will take the group into the "COLD" part of the IceBar. The Coolest Attraction in Amsterdam! As the name already suggests, everything is made out of ice. The walls, the bar, the seats and even the cocktail glasses are frozen. A temperature of minus 8 degrees Celsius is maintained in order to enjoy a Smirnoff cocktail or a Heineken XtraCold beer in this unique atmosphere. A 'cold' drink is included.
To embrace the cold, every visitor receives special thermal clothing including gloves before entering the IceBar. Artists from all over the world work together regularly to create beautiful ice-sculptures, creating the Ultimate Ice Xperience. There also is an IceMovie (4 Dimensional) showed in the bar.
The classy establishment is divided into two different types of venues complementing each other. The interior, completely designed by the well known Dutch designer Jan des Bouvrie, spectacularly illustrates the contrast between ‘hot’ and ‘cold’. At first the guest enters the XtraCold Lounge with the theme ‘Some like it hot’. The warm and stylish interior is a true heart warming experience by itself.
After visiting the IceBar 'cold part' for about 40 minutes, we serve a nice tapas dinner (hot & cold) in the warm part of the bar.
