Asia has played a very big part in the history of Amsterdam. The old and worldly known port town Amsterdam and the East India Company are without a doubt connected with one another. The East India Company’s Headquarters were situated in this powerful world capital. Our professional guide will take you through Amsterdam’s Chinatown and we’ll visit a Chinese Buddhist Temple, the old harbour and we’ll search for visible and hidden Oriental influences.
During the city walk we’ll take a break in a 17th century liqueur bar or an old cosy café. Enjoy a beer or a newly distilled liqueur. After the fascinating walk our guide will bring you to a splendid Indonesian Restaurant “Kantjil and the Tiger” or Restaurant Boat "Sea Palace". Here you will enjoy a nice rice table or a special group menu.
