Guided City Walk
Rembrandt Tour Amsterdam

It has been more than 400 years since the famous painter Rembrandt van Rijn was born in Leiden. He lived in Amsterdam for years and made his most celebrated work in our capital. The ‘Night Watch’ and other masterpieces are carefully displayed in the ‘Rijksmuseum’ in Amsterdam.

The Rembrandt tour will bring you along interesting spots from the artist’s life. His name is unchangeably connected to the Dutch ‘Golden Age’, in which Amsterdam blossomed into the richest city in the world! The guide will lead you around the canals and gabbled houses where Rembrandt himself put his empty canvas outside and started painting the magnificent views.

During the tour you will get familiar with the many locations where Rembrandt has left his marks; the Old Church, the Waag, The Palace on Dam Square (back then City Hall) and the Western Church where he is buried.

We also offer the ‘Rembrandt Arrangement’, complete with tour, dinner in the old city gate and liqueur tasting and when requested a visit of the Rembrandt House Museum.
