Guided City Walk
Jordaan Tour & Amsterdam Canal belt

The Canal belt and Jordaan quarter are one of the most famous neighbourhoods of our country. An area full of old tales, musical history, cosy bars, lots of small canals, trendy stores and historical house boats.

We offer a private guided tour which will lead you to the heart of the Jordaan Quarter. We walk along the romantic canals with their gabbled houses and astonishing assortment of small canals and bridges. The Jordaan is famous for the streets which are named after flowers. We can also visit the Tulip museum located at the Prinsengracht.

Your tour guide will tell you how historical figures, like Rembrandt van Rijn, gained their inspiration from this typical Amsterdam quarter. During the tour we’ll also look at the origin of the Canal Belt and the Golden Age, when merchants and traders ruled this area.

We’ll visit some of the romantic little courtyards surprisingly peaceful in the centre of this lively and noisy city. During the tour you can have a drink in one of the many inviting cafés that this area has. Famous bars are for instance "The two little Swans", "Rooie Nelis" and "Music café Lowietje".

We can also arrange a delicious lunch or dinner in the Jordaan. Just ask us!
