The Hermitage in Amsterdam is a sparkling new museum and the extension of the famous Hermitage in St. Petersburg. It has been opened in a fully rennovated building, called the ‘Amstelhof’, which was a facility for the elderly for over 324 years! It’s now a magnificent building accomodating a multifunctional museum with exhibitions, a restaurant, study centre, shops, an auditorium and a courtyard.
